We must learn to control ourselves as in 1 Thess. 4:3, 4 3-4 For God wants you to be holy and pure and to keep clear of all sexual sin so that each of you will marry in holiness and honor— 5 not in lustful passion as the heathen do, in their ignorance of God and his ways.
These hormones God gave us have to be used properly.
Just like you control your appetite, thirst, or exhaustion/sleep; you don’t just lay down anywhere and sleep. You must also control your hormones.
God made sex stimulating and arousing for marriage. Sex ain’t nothing to play with. Marriage is its control valve it should be channeled and regulated via marriage.
Control helps us avoid sexual slavery or lust.
No affairs, no orgies, no coveting another man’s husband or wife. There is enormous misery in refusing to control your passion.
