In Times Like These – Part 3

God’s commitment to us as His children never changes even if our circumstances are outrageous. We should never be tempted to doubt God because we are going through something. We ought always to trust God.

We will all arrive where God wants us to be. It won’t be because we are lucky or we worked harder; it will be because we learned the Lord more fully and we learned to yield to His will. It will be because God has a purpose for our lives.

This is why how we think and what we think about God is so important. It literally will affect every area of our life. So if we are not accurate in our scripture interpretation or we are listening to a quack preacher, we can really be hurt.

We must know when life is beautiful we ought to praise God. When life is dismal and tough we still have to praise Him. Don’t be tempted to say where is God? Why isn’t God doing something about this? Why doesn’t God answer our prayers?

Please know the Word and it says God will never leave us or forsake us. There is no need to have a season or reason of doubt. Even when we mess up, God still loves us. 2 Tim. 2:13 13 Even when we are too weak to have any faith left, he remains faithful to us and will help us, for he cannot disown us who are part of himself, and he will always carry out his promises to us.

We may not understand what God is doing but we will see through it all He was guiding us and holding our hands.
I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. Phil. 1:6
